Support Document

Description:  Hydraulic oil reservoirs are available in a variety of styles, sizes, and materials to suit a wide range of applications from small dump trucks, to central hydraulic systems, to the largest dump trailers. We offers reservoirs from 15 to 75 gallons in capacity, constructed of polyethylene, aluminum, and steel.

Muncie Power Products was the first to market a polyethylene reservoir and the first to package a complete wet line kit. Reservoirs are available in both side-mount and upright configurations. All models feature oil level/temperature gages and several offer an in-tank filter option.

Key Features / Benefits:

bulletExtended warranty on wet line system components when using the polyethylene reservoir: Improved warranty because the contaminates are not bred in the reservoir or found thaere as a result of reservoir fabrication
bulletLifetime warranty on polyethylene reservoir: Improved longevity
bulletAvailable aluminum reservoirs: Light weight, attractive, great at dissipating heat (which benefits continuous duty applications)
bulletAvailable steel reservoirs: Most durable choice for continuous applications
bulletReturn line diffusers (slow the speed of returning oil): Helps prevent aeration, promotes settling of contaminants
bulletPolyethylene reservoirs (perfect for intermittent applications): Save weight and eliminate the risk of contamination from corrosion

 Common Applications:

bulletDump trucks and trailers
bulletIce and snow control trucks
bulletLive floors
bulletRefuse trucks
bulletEjector trailers
